To the guardians, parents and all who care for our village of bees,

 

I am so proud to be back as PAC President for a 3rd year at Sidney Elementary. My name is Hari Jacquot and it is not lost on me that we have the incredible honour of raising our children on traditional territory of W̱SÁNEĆ people. This community is beautiful, inclusive and welcoming. As we move through the 2026/2027 school year, the PAC encourages you to get involved when and where you can. The goals and vision of this PAC remains the same. 

1). Does it build community? 

Are parents, guardians and children able to build relationships within the Sidney Bee village so they feel seen, supported and valued?

2). Does it raise money? Are we creating events and fundraisers that allow us as a community to help with school needs that may not be met by current funding.

3). Does it bring joy? Are we having fun? Do our little bees feel part of something joyful, inclusive and meaningful? 

As a mother of two children attending Sidney Elementary, I am so proud of what we as a PAC can accomplish when we work together! When you think it’s a small contribution of time, please know, it means more than you can imagine. Volunteering your time (no matter how little or a lot) is how we create a village for our bees. 

Let’s have the most incredible year yet. It is my absolute joy to be a fellow parent in this incredible community.
