Welcome to Sidney Elementary!

We are so happy to have your kiddo join our amazing school, whether they are in Kindergarten or a higher grade, Sidney is a warm welcoming community and we are happy you are here. The PAC is entirely volunteer and focused on building and nurturing community and raising funds that go towards in-classroom supplies, field trips and so much more for kids to have an enriching educational experience. All caregivers with a child at Sidney Elementary are a member of the PAC, so yes, that includes you!

Important things to know:

1. Healthy Hive - our breakfast program run by the talented Miss Emily is at the kitchen by the office near the gym, it is Monday to Friday from 8:15 until the bell rings or they run out of muffins. There is a rotating menu with some extra special treats on special occasions!

2. What about school supplies? School supplies are mostly handled by purchase by the teachers with a cheque due near the beginning of the year.

3. What extra-curricular / after school activities are there? Swim club, cross country, pencil club (for kids who love writing/drawing!), dance club, basketball, track and field, so much more!

4. What does the PAC even do? We are focused on building community, spreading joy and raising funds for in-classroom supplies, field trips and other extra curricular activities to keep costs low for parents.

If you're interested in hearing what the PAC is about, come to a meeting (second Tuesday of every month) or if you have a little time to give (even if it's just helping with one event a year!), please let us know by filling in the 2026 subscription form!​  Helping your child and their friends thrive at school is extremely rewarding and a great use of time.
